Bleached eyebrows?

Dear Auntie:

I know we’ve all toyed with changing our brow colors since the runway models for the 2010 season have bleached theirs.  Would you consider bleaching your eyebrows so they appear to be nearly invisible?

Dear Megs,

Wacko if you ask me.  I think it looks a bit alien and the model could probably get the part in any new sci fi movie.  Bleached totally platinum wouldn’t be for me.

However, when I bleach my hair, I do lighten my brows because I think they make me look harsh.  I put Vaseline on the area around my brows and use Jolens creme bleach and it only takes about 5 minutes.  No longer because once the color starts to change you can go from black to nearly non-existent in just a matter of seconds.  Start with 5 minutes and check.

If you decide to go with the no-brow look for 2010, send us a photo and we’ll post it here but we don’t promise not to laugh.
