Dear Auntie,

I’ve got a hot date coming in about 20 minutes and the cat has been all over the sofa.  What can I do to get it off before he gets here.  I don’t want to go out with him covered in fur!  Help!

Dear Fluffy,

Pet hair on the sofa and your guy is arriving soon?  Grab a damp sponge and rub it across the fabric and the pet hair will stick to the sponge.  Problem solved.

Got glass tables?  Mix a spray bottle with one quart of water and one tablespoon of liquid fabric softener.  Clean your glass table tops with this mixture and you won’t have to get the window cleaner out every day.  It’s also good for computer and TV screens.
