Goodwill Shopping?

Dear Auntie:

I have always wanted to dress up in something totally not “me” to surprise my sweetheart and then have him ravish the new me but I can’t justify the expense just for one night.  Suggestions?

Dear Always;

You heard it here, ladies.  The fine helpful folks at Goodwill are now online with auctions for preloved and vintage clothing auctions and some of the items are not spendy at all.  Not only that, every time you buy something to dress up in, the funds are going for a good cause.  This is the first Internet auction site owned and operated by a nonprofit organization.

There are nearly new clothing items, vintage clothing as well as a few unique one-of-a-kind items and estate pieces.  If you haven’t taken a look, bookmark shopgoodwill.com.  We all know about the good that Goodwill does and the funds from these auctions pay for education, training and job placement for people with disabilities and other barriers.

A friend of mine, a real fashionista, regularly checks all the op shops for those pieces that always make her look like she just stepped out of a bandbox and she does it all on the cheap.
