Great photos on the net

We’ve all seen online profile photos that make us go, “wow.. isn’t that sexy?” or “how does she get such great photos?”   Think about that for a moment and then you’ll realize that it’s the pose, the lighting or the feeling behind the eyes that comes through to your brain as attractive or sexy.

Find photos that you find appealing and then try to copy the pose, replicate the lighting effects or feel the emotion inside you as the camera goes click. You want a photo that’s going to catch someone’s eye. If you’re looking like you’ve lost your last friend or like a deer caught in headlights, maybe now’s the time to re-do your own photos that you have posted on the net.

When taking photos, remember that the camera lens is going to see everything. You might not realize that the unmade bed or the ashtray full of cigarette butts or the dirty laundry all over the floor will make an impression on someone viewing your photo, but I promise you that it does. Put some thought into your photos – this is your chance to put your best foot forward.  First impressions can last a lifetime.

In doubt? Ask people for suggestions to improve your photo. Who knows, you might strike up a conversation with someone and end up with a new friend or more.
